Mentoring

Having worked for 25 years as a dyslexia specialist and over 18 years as an assessor and an OCR Level 5 and Level 7  SpLD training provider I am pleased to now have the time to mentor other assessors and tutors.  

I offer a choice of mentoring packages and 60-minute options for those who don’t require a full package.

I offer a complimentary  30 minute session to meet me prior to making a decision about mentoring and to ask any urgent questions you may have about assessing or tutoring.

APC Mentoring Programme Package    

This is a 5-hour mentoring programme aimed at Assessors who wish to develop their skills in assessment and report writing and provide guidance and support for APC renewal. It includes 1:1 zoom sessions, activities and evaluation of a report. I offer a complimentary 30- minute session before booking to discuss your specific requirements and design an individual package.

Fee: £300 for 5 hours support package

 

Individual Sessions 

Alternatively I offer individual sessions at  £65 for  60-minute sessions. Book as many or as few as you require.

New Assessor Programme

This is designed for new assessors and those returning to assessment and includes advice on individual profiles, test administering, report writing and SASC requirements. I offer a complimentary 30-minute session before booking to discuss your specific requirements and design an individual package.

Fee: £300 for 5 hours of support  

£65 if booked as individual 60-minute sessions.   

 

Tuition Mentoring 

This can cover anything related to tuition from starting up as a tutor to delivering online tuition and ideas for tuition activities. I offer a complimentary 30-minute session before booking to discuss your specific requirements and design an individual package.

Fee: £225 for 4 hours support 

£60 per session if booked as individual 60-minute sessions. Some client prefer 30 minute sessions at £30    

 

Setting up as a Tutor or Assessor in Private Practice - Business Coaching  

This covers what to consider in terms of location, fees, legal requirements, insurances, how to find clients etc. 

£30 per 30 minutes ( first 30 minutes complimentary) Have as many or as few sessions as you require.
